Mountain village dog

As we were leaving the vet clinic today, we received a call from a kind man who said his friend had a pregnant dog that had started to bleed last night and there were no babies appearing. He said they had travelled with the dog from a long way from a mountain village and they were worried for the dog.

We went straight to the address he gave us and saw this poor thing looking so sad.

Back at the vet clinic a cesarean was performed and we suggested she be sterilised at the same time. Sadly the result of the cesarean is that 3 puppies were stillborn, having waited too long to come out. The owner of the dog later collected Chock from the clinic, paid the bill & took her back to the mountain village to recover.
