I live in Los Angele...That is a frightening story! I live in Los Angeles and people (especially women) often bring a friend or husband/boyfriend with them to job interviews (especially auditions). I don't think you should stop talking to people (because often a few words can do a world of good), but take a friend and use caution if you go to a location for a rescue or any other reason. Always someone know where you are going.
